Jenny- they don't much like it, but yes, for the most part, they sit still for it- I have to support them, but he wasn't struggling. Pigs (and rabbits- but not so much) aren't like other rodents, constantly on the move. They have to sit still and pose when they get judged. I have a few idjets here, but mostly, my pigs are very very calm. I am very careful to keep the blowdryer moving and turned on low so not to burn or make the pig uncomfortable. Lots of them really enjoy being brushed (natural boar bristle only, please! Hey, if I won't use nylon on my hair, why would I on my show pigs? They much more beautiful than me!). Nothing beats a big ol' white American boar in terms of a pet pig.
