My neighbor tore out a squirrel nest in his attic and missed getting this one out where Mama could find it and carry it away. So they called me when they found it several hours later. Despite my best efforts, I could only keep it alive for six days.
In other picture, two Teddy sows are happy to have someone hold their banana for them!

Spidey, we have a mama squirrel who will not eat the peanuts we throw out. She wants pecans and will stand at the back door or at the kitchen window peering in until we oblige her. Today, I got her to eat out of my fingers for the first time! I love my squirrels.
you seem to have kind, nice squirrels. mine come from hell.
Every time I look at that photo of the doomed little baby squirrel, I get tears in my eyes.
I may have to stop dropping by until it moves off the page.
